William Sanday aka KidLxght (pronounced “kid-light”) is a Suva-based guitarist, vocalist and bassist. He picked up the guitar at age 11, and it felt natural from the start. Inspired by music icons such as George "Fiji" Veikoso, UB40, the Bee Gees, and the Temptations to name a few, his taste in music comes from mix of reggae, classic soul, and contemporary R&B from the 70s through to early 2000s.

William's early focus on fingerstyle playing earned him 2nd runner up at the Tom Mawi Taylor Guitar competition in 2021. As the guitarist and bassist of Vā, he co-wrote the award-winning original single "Mango Tree" which led to the band's win of the Domo Vou Talei 2022 competition. Within the Spectrum Collective, the Last Bus Home project gave rise to a new identity as "KidLxght", becoming one of the band's lead vocalists as well as guitarist and bassist.

KidLxght's musical journey continues as he explores his solo sound through a nostalgic lens. His debut single, "How It Used To Be", is out now on YouTube and all streaming platforms.
